When making music for a video game, you need to know the mood of the environment that the player is currently in, and make a soundtrack based on that. Video game music can come in many different moods - the point of it is to add to the story of the game and/or complement the story of the game, making it more enjoyable.
Because I didn't make this for an actual video game, I decided I wanted some upbeat theme, but also atmospherical. I ended with this, which mainly uses a reverb plugin with no dry and all wet (it isn't outputting any of the original sound - only the sound it adds for the reverb).
